Teen Arrested For Home Invasion Temporarily Escaped Police In Baltimore County, Officials Say

Freedom was fleeting for a 14-year-old arrested for a home invasion who temporarily escaped from custody over the weekend in Baltimore County.

On Saturday, members of the Baltimore County Police Department arrested the teen for the robbery and took him to the Dundalk Precinct to face charges; however, the facility couldn't hold the minor for long.

Police say that while he was being processed, the 14-year-old managed to exit the building through an unsecured door, and when he was initially was pursued, was able to evade officers.

His time on the run was short lived.

Later on Saturday night, officers were able to track down the teen and took him back into custody.

No information about possible charges were released by investigators.
